The Cottage
Located in a cluster of some of the best preserved thatched cottages in Scotland - and one of the Hebrides only conservation areas - Taigh Ailean is just a few minutes walk from East Beach with panoramic views of the Harris hills.
Lovingly restored in an open plan design, traditional materials and techniques have been used to showcase the original stonework. Under-floor heating and a woodburning stove, complete with a supply of wood/peat ensure the cottage is always cosy. There is a small, well-equipped kitchen - perfect for cooking up some local seafood.
One bedroom with kingsize bed provides the main sleeping area. additional single and double sofa beds are in the main room.

Washing machine and tumble dryer.
Electric oven with 4 hobs, microwave and fridge freezer.
